Vehicle Prep

Vehicle Preparation

We buy cars from numerous sources, including car auctions, private sellers, main dealerships.

Before purchasing a vehicle (excluding car auctions), we run a full diagnostics on the car using HEX-V2® - The new generation VCDS® tool to read any faults with the car.

Once we have a detailed report of the diagnostics, we know if the car has any faults and what the car will require once purchased.

When the vehicle arrives in our showroom, we thoroughly clean the car inside out and santise the whole car with dettol spray. when cleaned, we run another full diagnostics on the car to ensure the report previously obtained is still the same or any new faults have been discovered.

We use the VAS 5054A tool to update the latest software of the car.

If the car has any faults that require change of parts, we only use TPS which is the supplier of Volkwagen's original parts. We get the parts replaced by one of our trusted mechanics.

We also get original service parts and oil from TPS for all our cars.

As a standard procedure, we service all our cars by our trusted mechanics.

After this, we run full diagnostics on the car to ensure the car is fault free.

Once we have achieved the fault free mark and complete service of the car, we then give the vehicle in to independent M.O.T station for a fresh M.O.T.

After the car has been, serviced, fault free and M.O.T completion.

We move on to the final stage of preparation.

Interior extreme deep clean:

  • On the interior we start off by strategically removing bacteria from all fabrics, including the floor mats, with a combination of anti-bacterial, steam & wet vac extraction to lift and suck all the dirt out.
  • We then rigorously remove all grease & removable stains, caused by sweat, body oils, etc including all plastics and seats leaving it with a matt finish or at least how it originally came out from the show room.
  • Finally we degrease the windows thoroughly ensuring a streak less finish with improved visibility.

Exterior extreme deep clean:

  • On the exterior we begin with multistage deep cleaning process on the full  exterior including nooks & crannies, wheels, tyres and arches ensuring all dirt is strategically removed.
  • We then focus on enhancing the exterior paintwork by strategically removing stubborn iron particles, bug, tar and other contaminants that are embedded on to the paintwork from each panel. This helps expose the true beauty of the paintwork and makes the surface silky smooth something which cannot be removed during a regular maintenance wash.
  • Once the paintwork is fully decontaminated we then apply a fresh layer of premium ceramic wax protection that enhances the paintwork & provides protection for a few months.

It can be confusing when people use the terms “car detailing” and “car washing” interchangeably, but there are major differences between the two. There are similarities between auto detailing and car washing, but auto detailing goes much deeper than simply cleaning your car inside and out.

When considering auto detailing, one starts with car washing and vacuuming. Then, using more specialized tools and car detailing supplies, auto detailers give your car a much deeper cleaning. This might even include removing parts of the car to get into cracks and crevices that have never seen the light of day.

Finally, once a highly detailed cleaning has been achieved, car we will apply specialized products to enhance car’s appearance and protect it from future dirt and damage. As a result, a detailed car can look and smell like a new car, even if it’s aged over a decade!

Due to COVID-19, on the final touch we use dettol to go over the car once more and finishing with wet vaccum.

The car is now ready to go to it's new home!
